I have a 5 year old.

It actually happened back in December but with the busy holiday, I just couldn't get this out.  So better late than never I suppose!

I think 5 is official big kid status.  I swear as soon as he turned 5, he got so much funnier when he was already funny.  He has been coming up with the best one-liners.  Hudson has been doing really well in school and with his writing.  Next up is working on reading. Right now he is really into figuring out the first letter in every word. Sometimes he's way off.

 Hudson is still an independent little dude that likes to figure things out on his own.  He loves to go camping, to the movies and Disneyland.  He loves orange chicken and Subway (which I'm surprised he didn't use that in the question below).  He is such a great eater and is pretty good at trying new things.  He is afraid of the dark and spiders. He likes to curl up in mommy and daddy's bed and is a great big brother, most of the time.

At 5 years old, he's already been to 3 different countries and 7 states (8 soon).
